World News and Views :: Projects Lanxess hikes dichlorobenzene capacity1:43 AM MST | January 24, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz Lanxess has increased its dichlorobenzene (DCB) capacity by more than 15% by installing an additional crystallizer at its Leverkusen, Germany site, allowing it to produce more high-purity para-dichlorobenzene (p-DCB) for the global market, the company said today. The project involved an investment of €3 million ($4 million). “Our aromatics know-how focuses primarily on demand-based isomer management and we are one of the few manufacturers worldwide to offer this capability,” says Hubert Fink, head of the advanced industrial intermediates business...
