Lanxess Selects Indian Site for Ion Exchange Unit

Lanxess says it has selected the Jhagadia chemical park near Vadodara, India for a previously announced €30-million ($37 million) project to build an ion exchange resin plant (CW, May 30/June 6, p. 16). The plant will manufacture products for industrial water treatment and generation of ultra-pure water for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.
