Lanxess Awards Ion Exchange Resins Contract to Uhde

Uhde India says it has been awarded a contract by Lanxess India (Thane) to build a previously announced ion exchange resins complex at Jhagadia, India (CW, June 23, 2008, p. 18). Lanxess is investing €30 million ($39.8 million) to build the facility, which is due for completion within 16 months. Uhde India will be responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction management services.
