Kuraray to Build Polyvinyl Alcohol Plant at La Porte, TX

Kuraray (Tokyo) announced today that its Kuraray America subsidiary will build a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) plant at La Porte, TX, confirming CW’s earlier report.  The plant will be designed to produce 40,000 m.t./year in the first phase, which is expected onstream in September 2014.
