Keyuan Petrochemicals Begins Commercial Production of SBS

Keyuan Petrochemicals (Ningbo, China) says it has begun commercial production at one of its production lines for styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) at Ningbo. Keyuan completed construction of a 70,000-m.t./year SBS production facility at Ningbo in September 2011. Trial production and testing was completed in the fourth quarter of 2011, the company says.
