KBR awarded turnaround contract for a pygas unit on US Gulf Coast

KBR says it has been awarded a contract by an undisclosed “leading chemical company on the Gulf Coast” to provide turnaround services for its pyrolysis gasoline (pygas) unit. KBR will conduct services as the general contractor to perform regulatory maintenance, mechanical fixed equipment, piping systems, electrical and instrumentation services for the pygas unit, as well as all aspects of event management, project controls and subcontractor management.
