Jayant Agro, Mitsui, and Itoh Oil Chemicals plan castor oil polyols JV

Jayant Agro-Organics (Mumbai), India’s leading castor oil and castor oil–based derivatives producer, has entered into a joint venture agreement with Mitsui Chemicals and Itoh Oil Chemicals (Yokkaichi, Japan) to manufacture castor oil–based polyols. Jayant will own 50% of Vithal Castor Polyols, with Mitsui and Itoh Oil holding 40% and 10%, respectively.
