Jacobs Confirms CPChem's PE Contract Award

Jacobs Engineering said on Tuesday that it has been awarded a contract by Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) to provide front end engineering and design (FEED) services for two polyethylene (PE) facilities, confirming earlier reports that the contractor was selected to carry out the work.   The two PE facilities will form part of CPChem's U.S. Gulf Coast petrochemicals project at Baytown, TX.
