Jacobs Awarded Methionine Plant Contract by Evonik

Jacobs Engineering has been awarded a contract from Evonik Industries to build a previously announced methionine plant at Jurong Island, Singapore. The plant will be designed to produce 150,000 m.t./year of DL-methionine and intermediates used to produce the amino acid. It will be operated by Evonik Methionine SEA Pte, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Evonik Industries.
