(NPC; Tehran) has outlined to CW the expected completion dates of its olefins projects, which are under construction and in the planning phase. NPC and its affiliates will complete 50 projects by 2015, including ethylene, ammonia, urea, and methanol plants at a cost of $25 billion, Mohammad Hassan Peyvandi, director/planning and development, said in an interview with CW at the annual CW/SRI Consulting Middle East Petrochemical Outlook Conference, held in Dubai recently (CW, March 7, p. 15).
