World News and Views :: Projects Iran Inaugurates Arvand PVC Plant at Bandar Imam4:24 AM MDT | May 21, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmedinejad today attended the official inauguration of the Arvand polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing complex at Bandar Imam, Iran. The complex, completed behind schedule, is designed to produce 300,000 m.t./year of suspension PVC and 40,000 m.t./year of emulsion PVC using the Vinnolit process. The plant will add to Iran’s existing 400,000 m.t./year PVC capacity and turn it into a net exporter of PVC.
