Invista Hikes Capacity for Aromatic Polyester Polyols in U.S., Europe

Invista Specialty Materials says it is investing “several million dollars” at its two Terate aromatic polyester polyols manufacturing sites at Wilmington, N.C., and Vlissingen, Netherlands. The investments involve upgrades to boost global production of the company’s aromatic polyester polyols. Terate polyols are used in polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams, as well as in coatings, adhesives, elastomers, and sealants.
