World News and Views :: Projects Indian Firm Plans Big Fertilizer Complex in Nigeria5:12 AM MDT | July 21, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals (Hyderabad, Andra Pradesh, India) is planning to build a nitrogen fertilizer complex in Nigeria, senior sources at the company tell CW. Nagarjuna has already had discussions with state-owned oil and gas group Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC; Lagos) on the purchase of natural gas for the proposed $1.45 billion complex, which would be built near Lagos. Further talks with NNPC are scheduled for end of August.
