IFF to invest $50 million in flavors operation in Indonesia

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) said today that it plans to invest more than $50 million in its flavors operations at Jakarta, Indonesia. The investment will include a new ‘creative center’ on the existing site that will primarily support customers in Indonesia and is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2014. The company will in addition build a new manufacturing facility at a nearby site to expand capacity to serve global and regional customers in the growing ASEAN region.
