World News and Views :: Projects Huber to Expand Silica Production Capacity in India5:08 AM MDT | July 23, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Huber Engineered Materials (Atlanta, GA), a division of J.M. Huber (Edison, NJ), says it plans to expand silica production capacity at its manufacturing facility at Jhagadia, India. The expansion will more than double the current capacity, to 33,000 m.t./year, and it is expected to be completed by early 2012. The Jhagadia plant produces silica and silicate products for various applications including toothpaste, paints and coatings, and paper.
