World News and Views :: Projects Highfield Resources confirms exploration target for one of its three Spanish potash projects7:36 AM MST | February 27, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez Highfield Resources (West Perth, Australia) has confirmed an exploration target for its Pintano Potash project in Spain's Ebro Basin, the company announced today. Highfield's exploration target for the Pintano project is estimated at 306–338 million m.t. of sylvinite, which equates to a potential 44–76 million m.t. of potash. The Pintano project area appears to be dominated by various potash salts—sylvite, halite, and minimal carnallite—but the project will focus only on potash from sylvite, despite other mineralogical potential...
