Grupa Azoty announces expansion of nylon-6 production, fertilizer granulation capacity

Grupa Azoty (Tarnów, Poland) is launching investments in the plastics and fertilizers segments, the company announced. The company will build additional nylon-6 production and calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) granulation plants with a total estimated cost of  460 million złoty ($152 million) for start-up in 2016. The company says it has secured all necessary corporate approvals. The nylon-6 plant, with an annual production capacity of 80,000 m.t. and total cost of up to Zl320 million, will be financed via Grupa Azoty's own funds and a credit facility...
