World News and Views :: Projects Fluor Wins Polysilicon Contract3:19 PM MDT | September 7, 2007 Fluor says it has been awarded a $1-billion contract to provide front-end engineering and design, as well as engineering, procurement and construction management for LDK Solar's (Xinyu City, China) planned polysilicon plant to be built at Xinyu City. The facility will have capacity to produce up to 6,000 m.t./year of polysilicon by the end of 2008, and 15,000 m.t./year by the end of 2009. Site preparation has begun for the new plant, which will be constructed adjacent to LDK's wafer manufacturing...
