Fire Delays Ineos’s U.K. Unit Restart

A small fire that broke out during the restart of Ineos’s 200,000-bbls/day Grangemouth, U.K. refinery on May 10 will “slightly” delay the restart of petrochemical operations, a company spokesperson says. A specific restart date had not been determined at CW presstime. Ineos originally expected the site’s petchem operations to be running at full capacity by May 18.
