Farabi Brings Onstream New LAB Plant at Jubail

Uhde India has completed expansion of a linear alkyl benzene (LAB) plant for Farabi Petrochemicals at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The LAB-2 project went on stream earlier this month, doubling capacity to 140,000 m.t./year. Foster Wheeler was the project management consultant and UOP provided its process technology.
