ExxonMobil to Build Tire Liner Plant

ExxonMobil Chemical says it will construct a facility at Pensacola, FL to manufacture a new specialty elastomer for tires. Financial terms were not disclosed. The plant, which is expected to startup in early 2008, will produce a dynamically vulcanized alloy (DVA) based on the company’s Exxpro brand specialty elastomer and nylon technology.
