ExxonMobil Chemical Starts up its Largest Para-xylene Plant, Following Expansion

ExxonMobil Chemical has announced the completion and start up of an expansion at its Rotterdam aromatics complex. The expansion has made this plant, ExxonMobil's largest para-xylene production facility, the company says. Capacity of the para-xylene plant was raised by 25% to 700,000 m.t./year and benzene capacity increased by 20% to 830,000 m.t./year.
