World News and Views :: Projects Evonik Chooses Singapore For Nylon-12 Project1:27 PM MDT | July 6, 2012 Evonik Industries says it has chosen Singapore as the location for its previously announced nylon-12 project in Asia. The 20,000-m.t./year plant, subject to approval from relevant bodies, is expected to be completed by 2014, Evonik says. Evonik’s existing nylon-12 capacity at Marl, Germany is currently offstream following an explosion and fire at the site’s cyclododecatriene (CDT) plant on March 31.
