Evonik Awards Isophorone Plant Contrat in China to WorleyParsons

Evonik Industries says it has awarded WorleyParsons a detailed engineering, procurement support and construction management contract for its previously announced isophorone and isophorone diamine complex. The plants will be located at the company’s multi-user site at Caojing, near Shanghai and will be designed to produce 50,000 m.t./year. Startup is scheduled for the first quarter of 2014.   The company is extending its global production of isophorone and isophorone diamine into Asia and WorleyParsons will act as an engineering partner, says Udo...
