World News and Views :: Projects EuroChem Brings Online Large Urea Expansion Project4:08 AM MST | December 29, 2009 | Natasha Alperowicz EuroChem (Moscow) says it has brought on line a large urea expansion project at its NAK Azot enterprise at Novomoskovsk, Russia. Capacity of the plant has been increased from 1,525 m.t./day to 2,000 m.t./day and that of NAK Azot's overall urea capacity from 2,727 m.t.day to 3,200 m.t./day. Commissionig of the project marks the completion of a Ruble 2.5 billion ($84.2 million) capital expenditure program aimed at introducing the fluidized-bed granulation technology into Russia.
