World News and Views :: Projects Engineers India Lands Contract in Abu Dhabi1:25 PM MDT | September 14, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Engineers India (New Delhi) says it has received a $27-million order from Borouge (Abu Dhabi) to manage construction of the previously announced Borouge 2 complex at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. Borouge is building a 1.5-million m.t./year ethylene plant, which will be the core unit of Borouge 2 and is due on stream in 2010. Borouge 2 also includes an olefins conversion unit, which will consume 752,000 m.t./year of ethylene from the new plant and 48,000 m.t./year of ethylene from Borouge’s existing 600,000-m.t./year plant, to produce...
