Eastman Chemical Forms Hydrocarbon Resin JV in China

Eastman and Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical (Nanjing, China) have formed a joint venture (jv) to build a hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin plant at Nanjing. The facility will produce 50,000 m.t./year of Eastman’s Regalite hydrocarbon resin—a product line of the company’s adhesives and plasticizers unit. The jv will be equally owned by each company and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2014....
