DuPont subsidiary awarded technology license for sulfuric acid plant in Saudi Arabia

DuPont Sustainable Solutions says that MECS, a wholly owned subsidiary of DuPont, has been awarded a sulfuric acid technology license by Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Ma'aden) for Ma'aden's previously announced Waad Al Shamal phosphate project. MECS will provide sulfuric acid technology and proprietary equipment for a three-line; 15,150-m.t./day sulfuric acid facility that forms part of the Waad Al Shamal project.
