Dow Plans to Build New Chlor-Alkali Plant in Texas

Dow Chemical says it will build a new chlor-alkali plant at Freeport, TX that is due to start up in 2011. Dow did not disclose the capacity or the investment amounts but says it will make “a major capital investment.” Liveris: Supplying a ‘critical’ feedstock.
