World News and Views :: Projects Dow Expands Netherlands Polyols Capacity1:58 PM MDT | April 1, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Dow Chemical says it has broken ground on a previously announced polyols expansion at Terneuzen, the Netherlands. The company says it is on track to complete the 180,000- m.t./year expansion by mid-2009. Financial details were not disclosed. “This expansion supports Dow’s commitment to further grow our performance businesses, such as Dow Polyurethanes, throughout Europe,” says Doug Warner, business director/polyols at Dow’s polyurethanes segment.
