Degussa Builds Alkoxides Facility at Mobile

Degussa says it plans to build a “low double-digit million euro” plant to produce 60,000 m.t./year of alkoxides at the company’s Mobile, AL complex. Alkoxides are used as catalysts in biodiesel production. Degussa says it is the market leader in specialty catalysts for biodiesel production.
