DSM and Roquette Freres Form Bio-Succinic Acid JV

DSM and Roquette Freres (Lestrem, France) say they have formed an equally owned joint venture, Reverdia V.o.f., for the production, commercialization and market development of bio-based succinic acid using starch as feedstock. The move follows a two-year collaboration between the two companies into the development of fermentation technology to make bio-succinic acid.
