Competition Heats up for Reliance’s Jamnagar Contracts

Reliance Industries has shortlisted three groups of competing licensors for each component of the massive petrochemical complex that the company plans to build at Jamnagar, India, CW has learned. The complex, due onstream at the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011, will form part of a “super site,” that Reliance is creating at Jamnagar with an $8 billion-$9 billion investment (CW, Oct. 24, p. 20).
