Chinese firm selects Dow’s Unipol PP process technology

Dow Chemical says that Qinghai Damei Coal Industry Co. has signed a license agreement for Unipol polypropylene (PP) process technology with Union Carbide Chemicals & Plastics Technology, a subsidiary of Dow, for Qinghai Damei’s new 400,000-m.t./year PP plant in the Xining Economic and Technological Development Zone at Xining, Qinghai Province, China.
