Catalent to More than Double U.S. Bioreactor Capacity

Contract manufacturer and pharmaceutical services company Catalent Pharma Solutions (Somerset, NJ) says it plans to more than double its bioreactor capacity by adding a 1,000-liter bioreactor train at its cGMP facility at Middleton, WI. The expansion is set to be installed by 2009. Doubling up: A bioreactor train is added at Middleton, WI site. The Middleton site currently includes a 43,000-sq-ft building, housing cGMP manufacturing and quality-control labs as well as R&D molecule and cell biology labs.
