Carbogen Amcis to Open High Potency API Unit in India

Research and active pharma ingredient (API) manufacturer Carbogen Amcis AG (Bubendorf, Switzerland) says that its Indian subsidiary Carbogen Amcis India Ltd. (Ahmedabad, India) will open a facility for high potency APIs at Bavla, India by the first quarter of 2009. The Bavla facility, which is at the site of parent firm Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals Ltd., will cater to both cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic highly active substances in dedicated areas.
