Calumet to Build GTL Plant at PA Site

Calumet Specialty Products (Indianapolis) is expanding its Karns City, PA, specialty products facility with the addition of a 1,000-bbls/day gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant. Capital costs were not disclosed. The design is expected to be completed in 2013 and online in the second half of 2014, the company says. Calumet is refiner and processor of lubricating oils, white mineral oils, solvents, petrolatums, asphalt, waxes, and fuels.
