Bhansali and Nippon A&L to form specialized styrenics JV in India

Bhansali Engineering Polymers (Mumbai), a producer of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resins in India, plans to set up a joint venture with Japanese partners, according to today’s filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company’s board of directors on 20 April approved a draft jv agreement with Nippon A&L, itself a jv between Sumitomo Chemical and Mitsui Chemicals. Nippon A&L specializes in the production of ABS, AES, acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) resins, and styrene butadiene rubber/polybutadiene rubber latices. The...
