Bayer to expand Massachusetts functional films site

Bayer MaterialScience has purchased about 11 acres of land neighboring its South Deerfield, MA, site, allowing for future expansion of the site while improving specialty film production capabilities there, the company says. The 147,000-sq ft site is a part of Bayer MaterialScience’s functional films business.
