World News and Views :: Projects Basell Debottlenecks PB-1 Unit in the Netherlands11:11 AM MDT | October 30, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Basell says it will debottleneck its polybutene-1 (PB-1) plant at Moerdijk, the Netherlands, increasing capacity from 45,000 m.t./year, to 67,000 m.t./year. The project is due for completion in 2008. The Moerdijk plant uses Basell technology.
