World News and Views :: Projects BASF Expands Plasticizers12:27 PM MST | January 14, 2008 | Deepti Ramesh BASF plans to expand its plasticizers business in the Asia/Pacific region. Production capacity at the company’s oxo-C4 plant at Nanjing, China will be increased by 55,000 m.t./year, to 305,000 m.t./year by the fourth quarter of 2008, BASF says. BASF also recently inaugurated Asia’s first plasticizer applications laboratory. The lab, located in Shanghai, will focus on flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) applications.
