BASF Builds Waxes Plant at Ludwigshafen

BASF says it will build a second oxidizing plant for the production of synthetic waxes at Ludwigshafen. The plant will begin production in 2010 and double BASF’s capacity. The plant will use low-density polyethylene waxes, produced on site, as raw material. BASF says it will also modernize its polyethylene waxes plant.
