World News and Views :: Projects BASF Builds Specialty Zeolites Production Plant in Germany10:34 AM MDT | September 6, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas BASF says it is investing the construction of a production plant for specialty zeolites at the company's Ludwigshafen site. The plant will significantly increase BASF's production capacity for specialty zeolites and is expected to start operations in the first quarter of 2014, the company says. Zeolites are crystalline aluminosilicates that are found in different molecular structures in nature.
