World News and Views :: Projects BASF Builds Amines Unit at Geismar, LA11:59 AM MDT | May 22, 2009 BASF says it will build a new methylamines unit at its Geismar, LA site. The unit is slated for startup in 2011. The product is the raw material for 20 specialty amines produced at Geismar, the company says. BASF currently operates three methylamine facilities worldwide and has total capacity of 169,000 m.t./year. They are at Ludwigshafen, Nanjing, China, and Camaçari...
