Ashta Chemicals to convert Ohio chlor-alkali plant to membrane-cell process

Ashta Chemicals (Ashtabula, OH) says it will invest $60 million to convert its mercury-cell chlor-alkali plant to membrane-cell technology. Ineos Technologies will provide process design services and three Bichlor bipolar electrolyzers....
