Ashland Starts Up India Resins Unit

Ashland India Private Ltd. (AIPL; Mumbai), a subsidiary of Ashland, says it has signed a marketing and manufacturing memorandum of understanding with Natural Petrochemicals Private Ltd. (NPPL; Gujarat, India). The deal calls for NPPL to produce Ashland’s polyester resins and gelcoats for the Indian marketplace, and Ashland to provide sales and marketing technology as well as quality control know-how.
