Asahi Kasei Plastics invests $5 million to expand in North America

Asahi Kasei Plastics’ North America (Fowlerville, MI) business announced that it is investing $5 million in a new compounding line and plant improvements to accommodate increased business. The company says $3 million will be invested in a large compounding extruder and peripheral equipment and $2 million will be invested in new projects, including plant upgrades to begin this year.
