Arkema to Increase PVDF Fluoropolymer Production Capacity in France

Arkema says it will invest over €70 million ($109 million) in its Kynar polyvinyledene fluoride (PVDF) fluoropolymer business at the Pierre-Bénite site in France. The project will increase production capacity by 50% 2014. PVDF fluoropolymer is an innovative and fast-growing performance material with growth rates of 7%/year, the company says.
