Arkema Starts up PVDF Plant in China

Arkema says it has brought onstream its previously announced Kynar polyvinyledene fluoride (PVDF) production plant at the company’s site at Changshu, China. The plant will help provide for the growth of Asian customers, and to better respond to global demand for PVDF in applications ranging from high performance industrial coatings, offshore and chemical engineering markets to emerging sectors like lithium-ion batteries and photovoltaic panels, Arkema says.
