Argex Titanium completes feasibility study for TiO2 plant

Argex Titanium (Montreal), a titanium dioxide (TiO2) producer, has announced the results of an industrial feasibility study for its TiO2 project at Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, PQ. The 50,000-m.t./year production facility is estimated to cost $247.6 million in capital costs, $1.8 billion in operating expenditures—which include all feedstock and raw material costs—and will produce total revenue of about $4.9 billion, the company says.
